- Annotation: S Since the late 20th century, the conclusion of coalition agreements based on the results of elections in Germany has become the norm of the political process. While not a legally binding document, the coalition agreement nevertheless reflects the specifics of the conduct of the coalition partners domestic and foreign policy situation. Within the framework of the foreign policy block, the coalition partners’ vision of the content of East-European policy and the conceptual approach to its implementation is being crystallised. The purpose of the study is to analyse the transformation of the East-European policy of Germany in the coalition agreements. The East-European policy of Germany in the coalition agreements was analysed using content analysis and the historical and comparative method. Thus, it was found that the East-European policy of Germany has three regional dimensions – integration cooperation with the former COMECON countries, the Eastern Partnership, and German-Russian relations. The country accents are Russia and the Ukraine. In addition to the institutional factor (NATO, OSCE), the content of Eastern European politics is influenced by the ideological factor and the international environment.
