- Annotation: By means of a comparative analysis of the main editions of Nikolay Gnedich’s poems, including the only lifetime collection, catalogues of handwritten material, the composition of the corpus of the poet’s poems is reconstructed. The article traces the history of the poet’s publication in periodicals of the first third of the 19th century, reveals the logic of the organisation of the first collection of poems, built as a model of the poet’s world. Special attention is paid to the poet’s youth work. Attention to the poems of 1795 and 1802, which were not included in the editions, suggests that the poet’s artistic method developed based on the poetic constants of Gavrila Derzhavin’s philosophical odes. The article clarifies the corpus of poems included in the “Petersburg text”.
