- Annotation: The present article contains some experience of comparative analysis of style generating processes in the text of the English literary fairy-tale for children, connected with the romance and the Celtic fairy-tale. Stylistic reconstruction of the courtly universe makes the research focus. Universal and individual as well as national and supranational characteristic features proper to the stylistic organisation of the piece of art in dynamics are identified and compared. Special attention is paid to peculiar details of the world vision in the universal stylistic development, style generation evolution both in synchrony and diachrony. The style generating investigation as a part of a translation process, the image system creating, in particular, makes the present paper new and topical as well. The methodological basis contains traditional text analysis methods (cohesive stylistic analysis, synchronic and diachronic comparative analysis). The illustrative material makes it necessary to apply some data from the literature history and hagiography. The present work contributes to the sphere of investigating stylistic phenomena and their reconstruction as well when applied to the genetically connected textual material.
