- Annotation: The article attempts to identify the primary types of discourse, the formation of which is associated with a personalised linguistic personality, namely Donald Trump. The study was based on the book “Fear. Trump in the White House” by Bob Woodward. Organising a specific product by D. Trump’s linguistic personality, “Trump’s personalist discourse” (hereinafter referred to as Trump’s PD), establishes its leading position in the production of the primary types of discourse represented in the proposed classification by the first and second groups. The dominant linguistic personality of D. Trump, who establishes the format of communication with the potential addressee, is the producer of the first group of oppositions. The active position of the linguistic personality in the process of speech interaction is oppositive to the passive position of the opponent. The formation of oppositions is accompanied by the expression of evaluative actions of subjects that satisfy the classes of general and private assessments. The oppositions’ producers included in the second group, are the subjects who enter into the process of oppositive communication with D. Trump’s linguistic personality. The subjects of the opposition demonstrate an active position in carrying out actions that are combined with the dichotomous plan of “creation” and “destruction”. The speech activity of Donald Trump’s linguistic personality encourages communicants to participate in communication that takes the form of opposition. The structures of the oppositions of the second group of Trump’s primary PD have been analysed using the method of linguocognitive modelling, which allows us to consider the integrative essence of Trump’s linguistic personality as a criterion of Trump’s primary PD classification formation and it determines its dominance in communication and consolidation of its status as the main producer of these discourse types.
