- Annotation: The article presents a comprehensive analysis of literary texts published in the main print media of the City of Vologda. The author examined a wide range of stories, feuilletons, poems and fables by local writers. Based on this, an analysis was made of the thematic diversity of literary works in newspapers and magazines and the degree, to which they contained elements of agitation and propaganda. The study paid special attention to the features of the display and perception by the population of changes in life sociality that had followed the adoption of the so-called New Economic Policy.
