Petrozavodsk, 2025, 126 p.; Regional Ethnographer Anna Semyonovna Monakhova: biographical collection. Petrozavodsk, 2025, 158 p. The object of the review is several works of different genres by Karelian dialectologists, which describe Russian patois of Karelia, the peculiarities of their collection and presentation, as well as the personal multi-aspect contribution of regional ethnographers to the study of the ethnocultural and linguistic wealth of various regions of the land. The importance of creating at the present time dictionaries, anthologies and other books of this kind is emphasised, when it is necessary to analyse and identify traditional features of the spiritual and material culture of the working people, their language, in order to comprehensively reflect their socio-cultural and national identity.
