- Annotation: In this article, the image of “Own” is considered as part of the multidimensional concept of “Personality”. The purpose of the article is to identify the axiological potential of this image in the modern discursive space. As a result of the research conducted in the direction of modern axiological linguistics, semantic “circles” are distinguished, within which the image of “own” person is formed: family, friendly, professional, age, religious, territorial, spiritual, cultural. The spiritual and cultural “circles” uniting “one’s own” seem to be the most relevant for the Russian language consciousness at the moment, the changes in value attitudes and orientations taking place in Russian reality indicate the formation of another “own circle” – a civic-patriotic one. It is established that the identity of a person to a particular group is objectified in the Russian language by various units of lexico-semantic and phraseological. It is concluded that the cognitive attribute “own” becomes an important part of the conceptual content of the “Personality”.
